About us

Home Search Bureau was established in 2003 previous to which, the partners spent ten years managing regional offices of competing buying agencies. With this experience behind us, we have built up strong relationships with estate agents and other property insiders allowing us access to the best property on and off the market in the areas we cover. These trusted relationships mean we are regularly made aware of properties before they come to the open market.

Unlike some other firms, we are a completely independent property finder, being owned by the partners. We are not part of an estate agency chain and have no property to sell. We can therefore provide completely impartial advice during the homefinding process. We work very closely with our clients during the search in order to help them achieve their goal of the right property at the right price in the desired timeframe.

We preview every property before discussing with you whether or not you should view it. We negotiate the purchase price to your advantage and, once an offer is accepted we oversee the transaction to a successful exchange of contracts working closely with your solicitor, financial adviser and other professionals to make sure that any unforseen hurdles are overcome.

Your interests are our interests; we look for property from our client’s perspective and never lose sight of the fact that we are acting for the buyer as opposed to the seller.
